About the Design
KAM theory aims to describe the finer details on seemingly chaotic systems, in particular, it deals with the persistence of quasiperiodic orbits under perturbation.
This theorem is attributed to three math rock stars: A. Kolmogorov, V. Arnold, and J. Moser, whose initials give the name to the theory.
The figure depicts the bifurcation locus of a family of circle endomorphisms.
